BACKrits are critical feedback sessions taking place at Backlit Gallery Nottingham. Nottingham Trent Doctorate Researcher, and Backlit’s current exhibiting artist, Rhiannon Slade will be leading the discussion in which local arts practitioners and Nottingham Trent University students have a chance for their work to be critiqued by each other and University of Nottingham History of Arts students.
We would like to invite three local artists to contribute to the discussion and showcase their own work. Each group will critique six artists, and it will run from 2pm – 5pm (with a refreshment break in the mid-point.)
The gallery spaces will be available for artists to install their work for the critique.
Schedule;
12pm – 2pm Artists install works at Backlit Gallery.
2pm – 3pm 3 x 20 minute critical sessions.
3pm – 4pm Refreshment break provided by Backlit.
4pm – 5pm 3 x 20 minute critical session. Finish.
