Hayley Lock

To Taste Molten Diamonds

Hayley Lock is a Suffolk based artist whose practice is based on reproduction, reconfiguration and souvenirs. Adaptations come to light through the mediums of paint, drawing and collage and translating the work into the modern day, depicting current iconography and status with a dollop of humour.

The reproductions focus on entwining existing works and objects with aspects of life in modern day society. Lock has recently been focusing her interests towards hierarchical and fantastical subjects of monarchy and noble folk as well as the narrative.

Tom Duggan

No Show

Tom Duggan graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2009. He lives and works in Sussex.

Duggan’s work reflects his simultaneous desires to be known and to be invisible. He once arranged for a follower to follow viewers upon their departure from an exhibition, while in recent months he has placed several adverts in exhibition listings for fictitious shows at fake addresses. These potentially invisible gestures play with the notions of presence and absence inherent to art world dynamics and etiquette.

For this new body of work Duggan is exhibiting a group of press releases and floor plans, which explore the personas of several individuals and organisations engaging with the art world. http://tomduggan.awardspace.co.uk/
