PORCELLANA & DUOMO is about crafting an evocative, abstract and architectural habitat in porcelain.
DUOMO wall panels are uniquely handcrafted in porcelain and represent a fusion of early Japanese ceramic forms and Italian Architecture.
Each piece is handmade from rolled Royale Porcelain, Stoke on Trent (its main component is sustainably sourced from Cornwall, UK), individually cut to measure, shaped, laid to dry and fired at 1280 C. Porcelain is characterized by its strength and waterproof features, therefore the panels are suitable for indoor and outdoor settings. The result is an innovative mix of colour, light, transparency and striking architectural forms.
DUOMO panels allow for functional properties, such as soundproofing and lighting, to filter sunlight, to separate areas and decorate interiors and exteriors. The use of porcelain allows the handmade panels to reflect the qualities of light and transparency. The intricate and delicate use of geometry and optical effects transform every unfinished wall, pedestal or column into a real eye-catching architectural feature. It becomes a statement.
