Sian’s practice focuses on creating large cubed Perspex sculptures that are filled with prose, sculptures and mirrors; covered with illustrations gathered together from my research, conversations and interactions. Capturing the seed of inspiration and creating an invisible thread that connections the viewer to the artwork and the personal and physical spaces around us.
Each piece would normally sit in a different area, delicate and beautiful, reflecting not only the viewers voice but also the environment and the history surrounding each space. Capturing the importance of light and reflection, altering how it is seen by the interaction of the spaces and movement around them.
