I make paintings, drawings and watercolours, based on observations of the contemporary landscape. Initially these are digital, photographic or film based and made when driving, they record a landscape, which moves continuously, viewed obliquely through the frame of a car window, showing a space that is ambiguous, undergoing constant transformation.

These observations of the landscape are developed through a variety of media and resources using considered approaches of making: formal, abstract, sequential as well as figurative and expressive to create an ongoing body of original work.
