Directions
BACKLIT is located just around the corner from Sneinton Market. We are on the corner of Ashley Street and Alfred Street South. Look out for the big BACKLIT logo on our entrance doors.
Floor 1 — Studios
Press 1 and bell for studios.
This will ring through to the studios.
Floor 2 — Gallery and Office
Press 2 and bell for the gallery and office.
This will connect you to the main gallery team.
Access
If you are deaf or hard of hearing and cannot use the intercom, please select the floor as usual. A member of staff will come down to greet you and assist.
Step-free access to the building is available via our lift on Ashley Street. If you need step-free access, please select the floor you are visiting as usual and let a member of staff know using the intercom. A member of staff will come down to greet you and assist you into the lift.
