BACKLIT offers affordable studios in the heart of the vibrant creative quarter in Nottingham city centre. Since 2008 our Victorian-era building has hosted studio artists. We support a variety of creatives from recent graduates, students, artists, makers, curators, collectives, and writers at all stages of their lives. We do this through a yearly programme of events, workshops, paid opportunities, exhibitions, and community collaborations.
