Marta is a Polish, working-class art historian, curator, and cultural producer, based in the Midlands. In her practice and research, Marta deals with the issues of migration, xenoracism, class, and Central and Eastern European representation. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of the Arts London, working on a thesis about the representation of Central and Eastern European female artists in the history of British exhibitions after 1989. Marta is a 2020/2021 British Art Network Emerging Curators Group bursary recipient and 2021 DYCP grant awardee.
