Paul Henegan, Artist/Teacher, Studio6, Surface Gallery, Nottingham.

Holds a B.A. Fine Art( hons) and post Graduate ATD ( Liverpool University). Formerly HOD in a Secondary Art department, Examiner and contributor to NSEAD initiatives ( National Curriculum case studies).

Practise involves Deconstructing functional objects reinvented as entertaining storied assemblages/sculptures, ( wood, mixed media).Fascinated by the process of intuitive making and how it reveals ‘meaning’. Work often involves verisimilitude and humour and sometimes new eccentric functionality.

Paul has exhibited regularly in the East Midlands and has work in private collections locally. He continues to teach social and engaging printmaking and 3‑D workshops in and around Nottingham.
