Skate Nottingham are lifelong skateboarders who work across a range of disciplines, including film, photography and construction. Our projects aim to unlock the potential of Nottingham’s internationally significant skate scene, to provide young people with opportunities to develop their creative practice, raise their aspirations and improve their wellbeing. Since incorporating as a Community Interest Company in July 2017, we’ve worked with more than 3,000 local children, young people and adults. We’re currently working hard to bring about a new ‘skate friendly’ public space near Broad Marsh that will include an outdoors exhibition space with lots of exciting opportunities for culture, learning and outdoor play.
