A solo exhibition by Frank Kent. Kent’s exhibition presented large scale colourful paintings placed on translucent latex and framed on structured pine wood. The paintings were specifically designed for the exhibition but was mounted onto BACKLIT’S walls as a more permanent feature after the exhibition.

The Taste of Stone was Frank’s last Nottingham exhibition before he relocated to his home town of London later on in the year where he continued his studies at Royal Academy School in London. Frank graduated from the School of Art and Design at Nottingham Trent University in 2010 and since then widened his skills by working as a carpenter and specialising in spray painting.
